Invite your team
Only Admins can invite users. Invites are sent by email and contain a one-click signup link valid for 7 days.
Send an invite
- Go to Users in the sidebar.
- Click Invite user.
- Enter the person's email address.
- Pick a role — see Roles & permissionsif you're unsure.
- Click Send invite.
The recipient gets an email titled "You've been invited to [workspace name] on Snippath" with a button that takes them straight to a pre-filled signup form. They just need to set their name and password.
What if they don't get the email?
Have them check their spam folder first — invitation emails come from noreply@snippath.comand sometimes get filtered on first contact. If it's genuinely missing, you can resend the invite or copy the invite link directly.
On the Users page, find their row in the "Pending invites" section. The row has two actions:
- Resend — sends the same email again. New 7-day window.
- Copy link — copies the invite URL to your clipboard. You can DM it on Slack, text it, etc. Same 7-day expiry.
Revoke an invite
Pending invites have a Revokeaction. The link stops working immediately. Useful if you typo'd the email address or invited the wrong role.
Remove an existing user
Active users have a Remove from workspace action. This:
- Immediately signs them out and blocks future logins.
- Keeps all their historical activity intact — tickets they reported, comments they made, photos they uploaded, parts they logged. Their name shows in the history as "[name] (removed)".
- Unassigns them from any open tickets — those tickets revert to Unassigned and need to be reassigned by a Manager.
You cannot remove the last remaining Admin. Promote someone else to Admin first.
Plan limits
Each plan tier has a max user count. If you're at the limit, invites fail with a clear error message. Either upgrade the plan from Billing, or remove an inactive user to free a seat. See Billing & plans for the current limits.
