Billing & plans

Snippath charges one flat fee per workspace per month — no per-user math. Only Admins can see or change billing.

Plans at a glance

Four tiers:

  • Free — for evaluating with a small team. User cap and active-ticket cap. All core modules available.
  • Starter — for small teams running day-to-day maintenance. Higher caps, all core modules.
  • Pro — for growing teams that automate recurring work. Higher caps, plus advanced features as they ship.
  • Business — for established operations needing audit logs, custom branding, custom domain, API/webhooks, SSO (as they ship).

See snippath.com/#pricing for the current pricing per tier and exact module/cap breakdown.

Upgrading

  1. Sidebar → Billing (Admin-only).
  2. Pick the tier you want.
  3. You'll be redirected to Stripe for secure payment. Enter card details.
  4. Once payment succeeds you're bounced back to Snippath with the new plan active immediately.

Upgrade mid-cycle is prorated to the day — you only pay the price difference for the days remaining in the cycle.

Downgrading

Same flow, pick a lower tier. Downgrade is also prorated to the day: you get a credit for the unused portion of the higher tier, applied to the next invoice.

If your current user count or active-ticket count exceeds the lower tier's cap, you'll need to remove users or close tickets first. Snippath shows exactly what's blocking.

Cancelling

From Billing → Cancel plan. Cancellation:

  • Reverts the workspace to Free at the end of the current paid period.
  • You keep all data — tickets, equipment, parts, history. Modules stay enabled but caps apply.
  • You can resubscribe any time from Billing.

We do not delete your workspace on cancellation. If you want it deleted, contact support@snippath.com.

Invoices and receipts

Stripe sends an email receipt after every charge. Past invoices are also accessible from the Billing page (link to Stripe's customer portal).

Updating payment method

Billing → Manage payment. Opens the Stripe customer portal where you can update card details, billing email, and address. Changes are immediate.

Failed payments

If a card declines, Stripe retries 3 times over a week. Meanwhile Snippath sends an email to the workspace Admins and shows a banner in the app. If all retries fail, the workspace reverts to Free until a working payment method is added.

Tax and VAT

Stripe handles tax calculation based on the billing address you enter. Receipts include tax breakdowns where applicable.

Why the iOS app doesn't have billing in it

Apple charges 30% for any payment processed inside an iOS app. Snippath sticks to the website for billing so you keep that 30%. The iOS app shows your current plan and limits, but to change them you open snippath.com in a browser.
