Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Snippath ("the Service"). By creating a workspace or signing in, you agree to them. If you don't, don't use the Service.

1. The Service

Snippath provides hosted maintenance management software — tracking work orders, scheduling preventive maintenance, managing parts inventory, running checklists, and related features. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We'll give reasonable notice for material changes that reduce functionality.

2. Your account

You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, including:

  • Keeping your password secret (use one we don't have).
  • Making sure the people you invite to your workspace are authorized to access the data in it.
  • The accuracy of the information you enter.

You must be at least 18 and authorized to bind your organization to these terms.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use Snippath to:

  • Break the law.
  • Store data you don't have the right to store.
  • Attempt to access another workspace's data.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attack the Service.
  • Send spam through the public report form.
  • Resell or sublicense the Service.

We may suspend or terminate workspaces that violate this section, with or without notice depending on severity.

4. Subscription and billing

Snippath is offered on monthly subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from the Stripe Customer Portal linked in your billing settings. Your plan stays active through the end of the period you paid for, then reverts to the Free tier.

Refunds.We don't generally offer refunds for partial periods, but mid-cycle upgrades and downgrades are prorated automatically by Stripe — you only pay the difference. If you have an exceptional situation, email us.

Failed payments.If your payment fails, your plan will move to a past-due state. We'll try the card a few times before downgrading to Free. You won't lose data.

5. Your data

You own the data you put into Snippath. We don't claim any ownership rights to your workspace content. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and display it solely to provide the Service.

We back up your database nightly and retain backups for 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for details on storage location and your rights to export or delete.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee specific uptime. The Service is provided "as is" — we do our best to keep it running and bug-free but make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Termination

By you:cancel and/or delete your workspace anytime. We'll delete your data within 30 days, per the Privacy Policy.

By us:we may terminate your access if you violate these terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that harms other users or our infrastructure. We'll give reasonable notice except for serious violations.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snippath is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Snippath against claims arising from your workspace content, your team's use of the Service, or your violation of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll notify workspace admins by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
