About Snippath
Snippath is a CMMS — computerized maintenance management software — built for the small teams that actually keep buildings, fleets, and equipment running. Work orders, preventive maintenance, parts inventory, inspection checklists, and QR-code reporting live in one place that works on any phone or laptop.
Why we built it
Most maintenance teams we talked to weren't running on a CMMS at all — they were running on a shared inbox, a group text, and a spreadsheet someone rebuilt every Monday. Tickets got lost in email threads, nobody could see what was overdue, and there was no history when a piece of equipment failed again.
The CMMS tools that could fix that were built for enterprises: priced per user, sold through a sales call, and set up over weeks. For a six- or twenty-person team, that math never works — every new person you add to do the right thing (log issues, close out work) makes the software more expensive.
So we built Snippath the other way around: one flat fee per workspace, a real free tier, and a setup you can finish in an afternoon. Add your whole team — technicians, managers, the front desk — without watching the bill climb.
What we believe
- ▸Flat-rate, not per-seat. Maintenance works best when everyone can report and track issues. Pricing shouldn't punish you for inviting your team.
- ▸Useful in minutes, not months. If a tool needs an implementation project, it's too heavy for most teams. Snippath installs as a web app — no app store, no IT ticket.
- ▸The phone is the tool. The people closest to the work aren't at a desk. Scanning a QR code to file a ticket in 30 seconds beats any login screen.
- ▸Honest about fit. We tell you on our comparison pages when a competitor is the better choice. We'd rather you pick the right tool than churn in a month.
Who Snippath is for
Facilities and property management teams, schools and nonprofits, equipment-heavy trades, and any small business that's outgrown the spreadsheet. If you've been quoted enterprise prices for UpKeep, MaintainX, Limble, or Fiix and just want the core maintenance workflow without the overhead, that's exactly who we built this for.
